Chapter One: Nature of Safe-Place Law
Safe-place law protects (A) employees, and (B) frequenters. Trespassers are excluded from protections. [8]
8. See Chapter 5, infra. Section 101.01 (2)(g) designates "employes or frequenters, or the public, or tenants, or firemen" as persons protected. However, the public, tenants and firemen are so protected only where they fall within the definition of "frequenter". The designation "frequenter", therefore, covers all persons protected other than employees.
