Windsurfer One Design

The Windsurfer One Design is the original sailboard. Sailboarding technology has progressed since its day. Today you can probably see more Windsurfers on garage rafters than on the water. One found its way from someone's rafters into my hands. In case there's one in your garage, or someone's offered you the one in their garage, here's a little information you might find helpful.

Here is the Owner's Manual [23 pp. pdf]. It includes good brief instructions on how to sailboard. These aren't a substitute for lessons, but are a good reference and refresher.

It's not easy to tie the boom flush to the mast. A modern clip-on boom is a nice upgrade.
