In the '80s, if I suggested in class that there might be any problem with sexual liberation, they said that everything was fine-what was I talking about? Now if I raise questions, many of them speak differently. Although they still live like libertines, it's getting old. They are beginning to sound like the children of third-generation Maoists.

Men in their forties with children in their twenties talk like boys in their teens. “I still don’t feel like a grown-up,” they say. They don’t even call themselves men—just “guys.”
*Sigh* That describes most of the men I know.
Funny that the generation that has become so obsessive about what they put into their bodies (free range chicken, whole wheat bread, organic veggies only, please!) has no qualms about depositing those pampered bodies into just anybody's bed.
I know whereof I speak. I bought the sexual "liberation" BS hook, line, and sinker when I was in my 20's and early 30's. What a sad, empty dead end it is.
